Rule 2:

Duration: 30 Minutes

Why is it 30mins?

Because sometimes, that’s all we have.

I’m not going to say there’s scientific evidence supporting this. I base this on what is practical, what is available and therefore what will be achievable, and most importantly what will be sustainable.

One thing we all have in common is we are time deficient, so I break down the elements of wellbeing: core, lengthen, strengthen, sweat into 30 mins sessions – bite size, snack size pieces, achievable pieces.

30 mins is long enough if you’re smart enough, if you have the right attitude and if you have the right information.

Personally, I can get my head around the time commitment of 30 mins. After all, it’s only 30 mins.

30 mins I CAN fit in. No-ones life is that busy that you can ‘t fit in 30mins. If it is, you need to address your time management skills, and your overall commitment to yourself and future proofing your life…your sustainability.

I know one thing….my weeks will always vary depending on my energy levels, head space and commitments BUT 30 mins of core, lengthening, strengthening, or sweating every day is my non-negotiable…

Some days your energy levels, your head space, and your time availability may allow you to double up on sessions. You can add them together or do them at separate times of your day.

You have control. It’s your bespoke training mix.

 

My week may consist of 3 strength, 3-4 lengthen, 1-2 sweat, 1 core:

Monday: STRENGTHEN, LENGTHEN

Wednesday: STRENGTHEN, SWEAT + LENGTHEN

Thursday: CORE

Friday: STRENGTHEN, LENGTHEN

Saturday: SWEAT + LENGTHENS

Sunday: SWEAT

 

That’s 4 – 5.5 hours minimum out of a possible 98 hours in our WEEK.

6AM-8PM MONDAY – SUNDAY

So the 2nd Rule of INergi is to make 30 mins a day your NON-NEGOTIABLE.
